4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment:

• More than 48 hours before appointment: Full refund of any payments made, excluding non-refundable deposits
• 24-48 hours before appointment: 50% refund of payments made
• Less than 24 hours before appointment: No refund

4.2 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule appointments with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to artist availability. Rescheduling with less notice may incur additional fees.

4.3 Our Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your appointment due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:

• Notify you as soon as possible
• Offer to reschedule at your convenience
• Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
• Endeavor to provide an alternative qualified makeup artist when possible

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Arrival and Preparation

Clients must:

• Arrive on time for appointments (late arrival may result in shortened service time)
• Have clean, moisturized skin ready for makeup application
• Disclose any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities
• Provide accurate information about the event and desired look
• Ensure adequate lighting and workspace for mobile services

5.2 Health and Safety

Clients must inform us of:

• Any contagious skin conditions or infections
• Recent cosmetic procedures (Botox, fillers, chemical peels, etc.)
• Allergies to makeup products or ingredients
• Eye infections or sensitivities

We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe proceeding would compromise health or safety.

6. Travel and Mobile Services

7. Product Liability and Allergies

We use professional-grade, high-quality cosmetics. While all products are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin, we cannot guarantee that reactions will not occur. Clients with known allergies must disclose this information, and we will make every effort to accommodate specific product requirements.

Novel Crest Paper is not liable for allergic reactions that occur when:

• The reaction is to a product the client specifically requested
• The client uses personal products we advised against

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not responsible for photographs, videography, or how makeup appears in media produced by third parties
• We cannot guarantee specific results as makeup appearance varies based on individual skin type, lighting, and environmental conditions
